Our Process

We understand when building your home there are a lot of decisions to be made, so we are here to work with you to create and design your new home.

To start the process you will have a phone consultation with Bray Building. We will then meet you to discuss the possibilities for your home, your wish list, budget, hopes and dreams.

An on site meeting will allow us to make an assessment of your land such as slopes, orientation view and any plan requirements that we need to take into account. We offer services that look after any site surveys, soil testing and if needed report planning and concept designs.

Once documents are obtained they are yours to keep. It is at this stage we can do a feasibility assessment with an estimated costing (ballpark figure) for your consideration.

The process in providing a quote for clients is something we take a lot of pride in. We respect that when building a home, it's a huge investment and to work to your budget is our priority. Some builders offer a square metre rate as a guideline, we find this can be misleading.

When you are building a custom home with unique design and specific finishes, an off the shelf price can lead to a long list of unwanted extras and stress. Providing an accurate quote allows not only transparency but peace of mind throughout the build.

Contracts are signed, building approvals are organised and we now book in the construction timelines.

We then begin to build your new home. Throughout the build we will organise on site walk throughs of the project when we hit major milestones. This is a great opportunity for clients to see their build progress and to make sure everything is communicated with you. With Bray Building you can be certain that the finished product and transparency will be exactly what you envisioned.

It’s almost time to move in! We cannot wait to walk you through your new home and answer any questions you may have! Prior to handing over the keys Bray Building will have completed a full assessment of defects. Our commitment to you doesn't end when we hand over the keys, after three months in your home we will arrange to fix any minor defects found.
